CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT: Developed and executed a National Volunteer Month public relations campaign featured in PR Week as a best practices case study on August 23, 2013 that resulted in nearly 1.4 million media impressions and an estimated publicity value of nearly $26,000 with no budget allocated for the campaign.
PROACTIVE MEDIA RELATIONS: Led proactive media relations efforts for the “Rethink Hunger” campaign fundraising shortfall announcement of $1 million dollars in June 2012. Media relations activities for this announcement resulted in the North Texas community donating nearly $300,000 towards the campaign. Media coverage resulted in an estimated 3.5 million media impressions and an estimated publicity value of $102,144.
